Simon McEnery
has written incidental music for the theatre, over 200 songs
and, most successfully, choral music. His oratorio The
Resurrection, with a libretto written by his partner,
Jeremy Davies, was recorded on CD by Salisbury Cathedral
Choir and Sarum Orchestra under David Halls and released
by Priory Records. He has also written a number of anthems
for the Cathedral, including Arise, Shine Jerusalem,
published by Amemptos Music Ltd, and recorded for their
New Music series. He has written music for the BBC and for
choral societies. Scores of many of his pieces, and the
CD of The Resurrection, are available from this
site.
