What I do
About me
A passion for music
I live in Salisbury with my husband Jeremy, and when we can we like to travel, go to dance and theatre performances, and cook and eat out. I've been a musician for as long as I can remember. I started playing my Grandma's piano at the age of three, and since then I've studied music as a singer, composer, teacher, and musicologist. I've sung at opera houses across Europe as an extra chorister, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, English National Opera and Welsh National Opera. I've composed vocal and choral music including several commissions by choirs and festivals, including Salisbury Cathedral and the Edington Festival. I've taught students who have gone on to sing in Les Mis and Mamma Mia! in the West End. And I run a choir - Salisbury Chamber Chorus - of which I'm very proud.
